In 1950, the extensive field attached to the properties was designated a Field in trust in Memory of King George V and is currently used by the very successful Hughenden Valley Football Club as well as hosting many events such as village day, annual cricket tournaments and the very popular village barn dance.

The hall has extensive parking and the car park also accommodates the local Village Shop offering all your convenience foods as well as a coffee shop where you can relax with a cake whilst watching your children in the park. (See gallery pictures).
