****Reminder****
WARNING-LONG POST REGARDING CAR PARKING RESURFACING
Tuesday 28th May-Monday 3rd June (Half Term)
Tuesday 28th May
For health and safety reasons, the whole car park will be closed off to all vehicles and pedestrians.
This will be to safely allow for major road type works to begin by removing all the old worn out surface material and removing it from the site.
The Children's play park area will be closed to the public because there will be a large hole being excavated to install a rainwater soakaway close to the entry gate. We will endeavour to open the park again before Saturday 2nd June.
Wednesday 29th May
The carpark will be open with limited parking spaces available.
Visitors should expect noise from machinery, and potential restricted access where remedial work is being carried out.
Friday 31st May 2024 to Sunday 2nd June 2024
For health and safety reasons, the whole car park will be closed off to all vehicles and pedestrians.
This will be for very hot tarmac to be laid and steamrolled into place across the whole site and it will be very busy with construction traffic during the whole day.
From Monday 3rd June 2024
The carpark will remain closed until at least the morning of Monday 1st June to allow it to settle, cool and cure.
Some spaces will be made available once the surface is deemed suitably robust enough for cars and light vehicle use. It will be another 1 to 2 weeks before heavier vehicles such as the bin lorries will be allowed access to the newly resurfaced car park.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hughenden Village Cafe will be updating the access etc accordingly so please do keep a look out on the FB page ππΌππΌ
