“The Hughenden Valley Potter Quiz is held in remembrance of Harry Potter (no not the wizard!) who was a long standing resident of the Valley and for 25 years secretary of the Village Hall committee.  As a tribute to Harry since his death in 1990 the annual Potter Quiz was started and the proceeds from the quiz are totally ring-fenced to finance the annual Senior Citizens function.”

Following the success of last year’s panto, Dick Whittington, our very own Valley Players will soon be starting work on this year’s production, Cinderella. Their initial meeting is to be held on Tuesday 11 September starting at 8pm in the large hall. Anybody who is interested in joining the Players, in whatever capacity e.g. as an actor, extra, costume maker, props finder, stage designer, ticket/program seller, bar staff etc. is encouraged to attend the meeting and will be made very welcome.

Following the success of last years Panto at Hughenden Village Hall, the newly formed Valley Players are rehearsing for Dick Whittington, for Panto 2017!

Valley Players welcome all to a read through of this year’s pantomime Dick Whittington on Monday’s at 7:30pm in the Large Hall, Hughenden. Come and join in the fun. No experience necessary. If you are interested in taking part please let us know! we need budding actors and backstage staff (scenery, sound, lighting, chaperones etc.).

The annual Christmas Bazaar will take place at the Village Hall on 26th November 2016.

This popular event draws crowds from far and wide and is a favourite visiting place for Santa too!

The Hughenden Annual Potter quiz takes place on Saturday 8th October 2016 from 7pm.
