Following the success of last years Panto at Hughenden Village Hall, the newly formed Valley Players are rehearsing for Dick Whittington, for Panto 2017!
Valley Players welcome all to a read through of this year’s pantomime Dick Whittington on Monday’s at 7:30pm in the Large Hall, Hughenden. Come and join in the fun. No experience necessary. If you are interested in taking part please let us know! we need budding actors and backstage staff (scenery, sound, lighting, chaperones etc.).
The Hughenden Annual Potter quiz takes place on Saturday 8th October 2016 from 7pm.
This is a popular challenging general knowledge quiz with all profits going to the Senior Citizens Christmas lunch. Spaces are going fast so if you are interested in joining please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Hughenden Valley Village Hall is looking to re-establish its drama group.
If you are interested in joining, the first meeting will be on
Tuesday 15th March 2016 @ 7:30pm at the small hall
So if you fancy treading the boards, controlling the lighting, painting the scenery, helping with props, back stage activities, advertising, or costumes, everyone will be meeting for the first time so don’t be shy and come along.

The annual carol service led by the children of Hughenden Primary school, followed by the switch on of the festive lights will take place at 4pm on the 6th December. There will also be a special appearance by the shop volunteers with there version of the twelve days of Christmas.
Al the festive fun, food and drink will be available. The whole community is invited to the 4pm lights on ceremony.
The Village Hall Committee will be holding its AGM on Monday 7th December @ 8pm. Following the formal proceedings Dr Anthony Gallagher a partner at Hughenden Surgery will give a short talk on the practise. Refreshments will be available
