“The Hughenden Valley Potter Quiz is held in remembrance of Harry Potter (no not the wizard!) who was a long standing resident of the Valley and for 25 years secretary of the Village Hall committee. As a tribute to Harry since his death in 1990 the annual Potter Quiz was started and the proceeds from the quiz are totally ring-fenced to finance the annual Senior Citizens function.”
